Test and Turn On
Run a test sign-in, turn SSO on and off, and remove a connection.
After you save a connection, the Test and turn on card appears on the setup page. SSO stays off until a test sign-in passes for the current settings.
Run a test sign-in
- Click Run test sign-in.
- Your identity provider opens. Sign in with a company account on one of your verified domains.
- You come back to the setup page with the result.
A test never creates an account or signs anyone in to ArmorIQ. It only checks that the connection works.
If the test fails, the page explains why. See Troubleshooting for each message.
Turn SSO on
When the test passes, click Turn on SSO. A banner confirms which domains now sign in through your identity provider.
To check it, open a private browser window, go to the ArmorIQ sign-in page, choose Continue with SSO and enter your work email.
Change the settings
You can edit the provider settings at any time:
- The client secret is never shown again. Leave Client secret blank to keep the saved one, or paste a new one to replace it.
- Saving turns SSO off until a new test sign-in passes. Run the test and turn SSO back on after every change.
Turn SSO off
Click Turn off SSO and confirm. People stop signing in through your identity provider right away and use email, Google or GitHub instead. You can turn SSO back on without testing again, as long as the settings have not changed.
Remove the connection
Under Remove SSO connection, click Remove connection and confirm. This deletes the connection and its client secret. Your verified domains stay. To use SSO again, connect a provider and test it from the start.
